Afternoon Car Rider Dismissal Procedure
Dear Parents,
In an effort to improve afternoon car rider procedure, we have created some simple guidelines/procedures. Please read through the revised procedure below. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the school.
·
Parents should remain in their cars at all times.
· Parents should line their cars up in the lane they will need to turn from in order to get out of the front driveway. (i.e. If you need to turn left, line up your car in the left lane.)
· All cars should pull down to the orange cone and wait to be loaded.
· Only the first 6-8 cars at the front of the line will be loaded.
· The Car Rider Monitor (Mrs. McGee-Pace) will signal when it is safe for cars to be loaded with the phrase “Load, teachers.”
· The teachers will be signaled that all cars should be loaded with the phrase “Stop Loading.”
· Mrs. McGee-Pace will use a stop and go sign to signal parents that it is safe for all cars to move.
