Extended School Day for 2008-2009 School Year

Dear Parents,
    Beginning with the 2008-2009 school year all Enhanced Option Schools will extend the school day by forty-five minutes.  This new opportunity will allow all students to benefit from the extended school day where many of the children presently attending Enhance Option Schools were not able to participate in the additional twenty (20) days of instruction during the summer.  This decision was made to maximize the effects of instruction and allow all students to gain academically from the extended learning times.  The extended time added on to each school day will replace the twenty day extended summer session.
